Mara Vale builds songs slowly. A voice memo becomes a loop; a room sound becomes percussion; a plainspoken line is left intact until it carries its own weather.
Her current work explores how tenderness survives distance. On stage and on record, the arrangements stay spare enough for every breath and imperfection to remain present.
